This program provides an opportunity to: enhance the skills and aspirations of a young person in their career path by engaging in unpaid employment, experiencing another culture, making life‐long friendships.
The program is appropriate to: Young people aged 20‐25 years (at time of departure) fulfilling one or more of the following:
TAFE qualification with minimum 75% completed, or an  apprenticeship with minimum 75% completed, or a  university graduate or in final year, or currently employed, or working voluntarily in a chosen career path or completed minimum HSC. The exchange term is typically three months and Rotary District 9670 facilitates the exchange for the outbound applicant. The receiving host Rotary District facilitates all vocational and home hosting arrangements.
The applicant acts as an ambassador for Rotary International and their community.
The cost to the student is the $50.00 application fee via the club to the Exchange committee, return airfare to and from the country of exchange, passport and visa expenses, comprehensive travel and medical insurance, funds to cover the cost of any personal purchases including additional travel while on exchange.
